There Is No Higher Self

The concept of a higher self is that within everyone exists a divine nature that can be awakened through meditation, practice, prayer, or various other means. And if one can tap into this higher self and replace it with one’s current ego then one can be free from suffering and problems that once rose from the lower self.

Masters of Love is not about awakening your higher self. You do not need to strive, practice, or study to become a Masters of Love. There is no point to reach. The pointer is the point. There is no higher self to be awakened. You already are the awakened. You stand where you need to be.

Why believe in a higher self at all? Why create another problem to the existing mess? Could the higher self simply be nothing but a separate ego in disguise? The desire to become one’s higher self merely postpones the solution to come about and puts you in a perspective to view your most natural self as the lower and the problem. What use is such solution? And when is it that you will reach this higher self?  Does it not become more and more elsuive, more sneakier, always managing to escape away?

There is no higher self that you need to awaken.  You already are the solution. You already are free. Your natural state knows all that needs to be known for this moment. Why should you deny? Your consciousness knows how to tell right from wrong. You just need to do.

Masters of Love is how your journey begins not where it ends.
