God

A debate on the existence of God is a debate between nothing and something. Some people argue for the existence of something and some people argue for the existence of nothing. We take sides between the war of nothing and something. We claim one side as the glorious truth and the other a mere delusion. We believe with extreme faith that one side will come out victorious in the end sending the other into abyss. Now is there a problem within this situation?

Let’s think about the relationship between something and nothing more carefully. Could something exist without nothing also existing? Could we notice the mountains if there was no flat land to compare it to? Could we know it was day if there was no night? If one thinks deeply about this issue one will sense that something and nothing can only exist if its opposite exists. One side cannot exist without the other. There is no sense in one side trying to eradicate the other because it will bring their disappearance as well. Something needs nothing to be true and nothing needs something to be true. If you understand this you will come to view that the true nature of god is neither nothing nor something. The true nature of god is the whole of nothing and something.

And it is best to talk as little about the whole because the instance you attempt to describe the whole you make it into either something or nothing. No words would give justice to the whole including the word whole itself because words limit our minds. Even the word God only takes away from our understanding of the true nature of God. I could write a thousand pages about the the nature of God and in the end I would have simply succeed in reducing God from everything to something. Words that define God will only create a certain boundary within our minds and limit our understanding of God.

At the same time we should be talking about God all the time. And when I mean talking I mean celeberating! Instead of debating about who's on the side of the true god we should be celebrating all ideas as different flavors of God. We should celebrate the Buddhist ideas, the Christian ideas, the Islam Ideas, the mystic's ideas, the scientific ideas, the nature's ideas, the atheist ideas, and every little idea about God from any single individual. We should absolutely celebrate these ideas with joy and happiness.

The final note is if God is the whole of nothing and something what does this imply about ourselves?
